How the Universe Functions; Law of Attraction Supported by Latest Quantum Experiments

Breakthroughs in quantum experiments have revealed that our universe may in fact be a simulation. In the quantum double slit experiment scientists discovered not only that everything in our universe translates as resonance waves but also those waves are manipulated by being observed.

Quantum physics is the study of how light and matter behave at the smallest observable level known to modern science. These quantum particles are observed in different ways in order to explain the nature of reality in our universe. Think of it as anatomy of the cosmos. When we first observed the smallest particles in our bodies we better understood their functions allowing us to cure illness and perform operations. Learning about how the universe works is the key to understanding it’s function, imagine what we could do with that.

The universe at a quantum level is naturally in a waveform state. These vibratory wave forms change to particles as soon as we observe them and make a decision about how it should behave.  This indicates that when we hold a belief the universe literally forms it and creates a reality for it. The trouble we run into can be described with an analogy to archery. If when we make a decision the waveform of the universe turns that decision into reality it’s like the wave becomes an arrow aimed at only one specific target. Where as the waveform lands many little arrows all at seemingly random points suggesting that the waveform could direct us to any of these points as long as we don’t form a solid belief about how the waves get there. Giving your attention to something draws it to you, as does your whole attitude toward life so we must learn to project what we want to attract.

According to these findings everything in our universe responds to how we perceive it. Physical scientific proof that we are in control of our own destiny yet we lack the mental toolbox to accept and use this to it’s full potential. Or do we? What if it were like tuning into a radio station? Imagine the universe is made of sound waves. If you vibrate at a certain frequency there is a sound. You can resonate at any frequency you want by feeling it. Your instrument of communicating with the universe is your true feelings. Resonance = disposition. The idea is that if you decide to resonate with love, the highest frequency there is, life in general is better and you are happier. However resonate at a low frequency such as fear, and you find it hard to believe any higher frequencies exist. You just can’t hear that music. How we feel determines the internal music we listen to and by consciously changing what we want to hear it changes our frequency.

We can tune into a frequency like a favorite radio station but life will cause it to become fuzzy or even change from time to time. The whole philosophy is that you are in control of your radio. Your thoughts and the feelings attached to them are what control the radio station. When you’re happy, and positive and loving life you’re listening to the best radio station in existence. You just have to decide, I want to hear that music and tune in. According to the law of attraction, that which is like unto itself is drawn. If it were a musical game you would simply play the melody you wanted to hear played back to you. The music is played by adjusting your thoughts to produce the feeling you wish to maintain. This is where we will run into trouble because changing our thoughts from negative to positive takes constant work over our entire lifetime. Not easy but definitely worth a try since it seems that might be why we’re all here. There is another element to all of this, contrast. There will always be duality in life, light and dark, male and female. The point of existence seems to be expansion. We can never reach an end to this process as long as we are alive. We will always be in a state of flux, even if we succeed in controlling our vibration there will be moments of upheaval and strife for us to grow from. In this way we are expanding and evolving. I think it’s possible that as we evolve we might cause the universe to expand.

If there were ever a way to unlock the magic of our brain’s full capacity wouldn’t it be to speak the language of the universe? Have you ever been to a concert and felt the incredible energy of all the people there having an amazing experience together? Then maybe you’ve noticed you’re just happier for the next few days. That’s an example of vibration effecting our lives in a positive way. being in an intensely positive environment raises your vibration, being in a negative one lowers it. If you agree, and want to start changing your thoughts today please have patience with yourself. It takes time, the struggle is very real. It took me years to get to this level of understanding. I highly recommend listening to Alan Watts or Abraham-Hicks on youtube. (links below) Please try meditation, it really is the easiest path to answering the questions your mind rests on the most.

Experiment notes:
(from the quantum eraser video)
Scientists delay observing particle/waves until after they’ve passed through the slits and just before they hit the screen.
@6:50 - 8:37
They found that observance changes waves into particles and the pattern on the screen will always be 2 slits (the way particles would behave) if the path to the outcome is known. However the interference pattern will always occur if the path to the screen is not known to the observer. This was tested in the lab using reflectors to bounce the waveforms off and redirect to randomized screens so their paths could not be determined. The conclusion was that as long as the subatomic particles that make up our universe are not being observed and scrutinized they are waves of potential, and when they are observed with knowledge they become one focused point with one destination.
5:13 - 6:45
Not only does the observer turn wave functions into particles at the quantum level but when they do so, it appears they always were so. This indicates that the observer’s influence has a retroactive effect on reality.

*The way I understand this is with another theory called the many worlds theory. If our decisions are infinite, there might be a reality to accommodate all of them. Why not? I think this theory makes sense in conjunction with the retroactive effect the researchers observed. If you switch universes, some of your past may have to be rearranged. We would not notice this at all and simply think that all of our original memories were intact.

The science of parallel universes:
1. Bubble universes or (baby black hole universes)
  • Our universe is separated from others with black holes and some may exist inside black holes
  • If each bubble has it’s own law of physics, theoretically we could only exist in one.
2. Membranes and (extra dimensions)
  • Our universe is a 3 dimensional one contained within a supposed (9 dimensional) one.
  • If there are 9 dimensions then theoretically it is possible there are many 3 dimensional realities stacked like newsprint which we can only observe by turning the page. (it is unknown if this is possible but “many worlds” suggests it could)
3. Many Worlds

Brendan Fraser’s Sadness Was A Mirror To Mine

I’ve been listening to Abraham-Hicks “Law of Attraction” lectures on youtube for about 3 years now. The abridged version of the philosophy is, If you concentrate on feeling good and changing your negative thoughts to positive, you then naturally attract more positivity and abundance into your life. The entire theory is based on the premise that we are responsible for our own internal dialog. Once this is accepted we can stop blaming other people and circumstances for our unhappiness and really begin to change our lives. I’ve been listening to Abraham for a while now but it’s taken some time to digest the language and internalize ideas that resonate with me. One of those ideas is that your “vibration” (synonymous with, emotional state) attracts you to others experiencing the same or similar situations so that you can learn from them.

I have reached a point where all my suppressed emotions are spilling out, like a zombie leaking entrails everywhere. I don’t want to be around people and get all my gross entrails on them so I suppress all of it when I go out and decompress when I get home. I know I hide it well enough to get by, but I wouldn’t hold up to close scrutiny. When I look in the mirror I see pain or numbness. I actually broke the largest mirror I had in my bathroom in a fit of self loathing. Examining myself was too painful so I did what most people do, I used life as a distraction.
One of my favorite distractions is a hobby I’ve had since long before I contemplated filmmaking as a major. Before I continue I would like to explain that I am NOT a stalker, I just love actors. I love to study their techniques, watch them improve, and I actually root for their careers like some people root for football. My hobby is to pick an actor and study their entire body of work. Or at least what I can get my hands on. I’ve studied Alan Rickman, Gary Oldman, Robert Downey Jr., James Spader, Kenneth Branagh, to name a few, and most recently Jerry Lewis, whom I recommend looking up because it’s also a history lesson and his work is easy to find. I always find something I can learn from, unusual thought provoking pieces that I never would have picked on my own. I choose actors for different reasons, sometimes it’s just because I already like them. Sometimes it’s more subliminal, they had a recent hit movie, they came up in conversation, maybe they or their spouse passed away, they came up on social media, there was a billboard on my way home, a culmination of these things usually.

This time what got my attention was when my brother mentioned he was severely injured during the Mummy franchise, he popped up on social media because of a “me too” statement, I decided to watch the Mummy movies for the eleventy billionth time. Arguably these things are random but I am still grateful that my mind works this way. So I began watching interviews, this is how I try to get a feel for an actors personality and mannerisms in order to gauge weather a role is difficult or not much of a stretch from their true personality. I watched various interviews for about an hour then texted my best friend, “I think Brendan Fraser is me if I were a dude”.

Disclaimer: when we watch other people it’s important to keep in mind the difference between being objective and trying to see a specific emotion which we project. We all do this. I have discovered that the initial viewing of an actor I do this, it’s my knee jerk reaction. Therefore I always come back later and attempt to focus on them objectively the second, third, fourth, time until I’m satisfied that I’m seeing only what’s presented not what I’m projecting. The following are inferences I have drawn from what I perceive Brendan’s situation is or was. Please note that some of it could be complete bullshit because I do not know him or anyone else who knows him. I did not write this to demonstrate how insightful I was trying to be with Brendan, I wrote to explain how it gave me better insight into my own life. I hope that if the right people see it, maybe it will help someone out of a similar situation to mine.

In true ostrich fashion I focused on someone else! I started reading about Brendan, watching him, reading comments on the interviews. He’s had a series of blows from life in the last 20 years, I will list them but first I want to talk about the video I identified with. An interview from December 2016 on youtube entitled “Brendan Fraser Discusses the Showtime Series, The Affair” where he appears far too overcome with emotion to be doing a public interview and the tears are barely being held back. Reading the comments I discover that his mother passed away November 21, 2016. Only 3 weeks before the interview. I’m impressed with how well he did. That’s when I thought, this looks too much like my face in the mirror to be a coincidence. It was too painful for me to look at my own life with this scrutiny. That’s how I got the idea to compare woes, find similarities and think about how I would advise him, then apply that advice to myself. What I got was clarity.

Unprocessed emotion is like the earthquake that won’t be suppressed, it starts the killer wave of unresolved shit growing. Before you know it you have a shit tsunami you may not be able to surmount on your own, and it may ruin your health and your well being to just keep surviving it. You can only tread water for so long. I imagine Brendan’s tsunami most likely begins with grieving after divorce. It’s an old wound now so maybe it’s more like tinnitus, a ringing in your ears that doesn’t go away. There’s more to it, I’m sure working to clear alimony every year probably sucks some of the fun out of living the dream. He has 3 boys, normal daily stress, growing pains and hopefully also a good measure of joyous distraction from that front. There were also injuries, the kind that surgery can only fix in a limited fashion. One was for a ruptured disk in his back, another was a half knee replacement, and there was a vocal chord injury according to Wikipedia. From what I’ve read and seen on the screen, Brendan is very active and I would imagine having these injuries makes being active much harder to enjoy.

Comparatively, in my life I’ve been burying stuff since childhood. The last time I felt like I had a family was age seven. My parent’s divorce was so horrific, I have never been married and I am now 40. My grandmother died, I can’t recall what year because there was no funeral, my family had a warm remembrance of her one Thanksgiving when I wasn’t there. She was our family’s matriarch and aside from her own children I was the closest one to her. My mother has dementia in a nursing home in Ohio where I can’t afford to visit her or move her any closer. Every time I call her she’s a little less herself. My self-esteem is so damaged that I walked out of class one day because I didn’t have anything to contribute to group discussion which triggered a panic attack. I’m almost done with my A.A. degree to transfer to GOD KNOWS WHERE and all of these classes must be passed! Financial aid is in play and it suffices to say I’ve counted more money than I’ve ever made. This is my shit tsunami.

Are these not some impressive giant waves of shit? I realized by comparison of his situation with mine that despite my best efforts I wasn’t able to process my own emotions successfully. Processing emotions is a skill which must be learned and cultivated through the help of a professional counselor or psychiatrist. By processing I mean, dismantling the separate issues, understanding how you feel and why, learning how to work past it, forgiving yourself and others, and moving forward. I have put it off and lied to myself that I was going to power through. It wasn’t until I started looking at someone else’s situation, that I saw the limitations I was imposing on myself by trying to handle everything alone. Now I’m working smarter, not harder.

If by some miracle Mr. Fraser reads this I just want to say that I know it’s presumptuous and I apologize for that. This is my attempt to use the gross public scrutiny of celebrity for something good. I don’t necessarily understand what he has personally been through but I have some idea. Chances are he has already worked this out. I hope so. Not all of us are judging, some of us are identifying. Thanks to Brendan, and all other public figures for that. Love and blessings to everyone with whom this resonates.

Why You Should Go Watch Martin & Lewis Right Now

A thing I like to do is research actors and their work. I’ve always loved to hear stories from people’s lives. Right now I’m studying Jerry Lewis because he died recently and shame on me for not getting to this sooner. I had always known about Jerry. I’d have to be living under a rock not to, my parents talked about him. Unfortunately by the time I was born in 1978 Jerry had been famous for 29 years already and his celebrity was waning. I consider this extremely bad timing because had I grown up watching him I would have been so inspired. Alas I’ll have to settle for being inspired now.

Jerry came from parents who were stage actors, vaudevillians. Vaudeville was a stage variety act popular at the turn of last century featuring burlesque, comedy, song, and dance. He played night clubs in the 40’s as a teenager while supporting his new family. As the story goes he met Dean Martin and they were a hit overnight. In 1950 just as television was being born they were on a show called the Colgate Comedy Hour which can be viewed free on youtube. Check them out! I think you might fall in love with them just as I and 1950’s America did.

Martin and Lewis weren’t popular just because they were funny and talented, it was because of the chemistry between Jerry and Dean. They were psychically linked on stage electric and exciting, they talked directly to the audience ignoring the fourth wall altogether. It seemed personal which is why you may as I did, start to notice that Jerry kisses Dean a lot. Really a lot. I can’t tell if it’s brotherly love combined with a comic’s compulsion to take things too far or if it was just love. Please weigh in if you’re reading this. I’d love an outside opinion.

Their comedy was a unique kind of genius. It was equal parts precision comedic skill and riffing, kind of like vaudeville meets jazz. In fact sometimes it was exactly that. They would start out with a rehearsed skit and escalate it to the point where they were so far off book it was all improv, a food fight, a water leak, a group tap dance turned contest. They would deteriorate into an improvisational work of genius all while talking to the audience as if they were watching live. The director would even play with Jerry by turning on different cameras so he would have to figure out which one to look at. He vents his frustration to you directly.

If you’re into film, theater, or just a fan of slapstick please go and watch this wonderful piece of history. Watching Martin and Lewis was like the first time I ever saw “Singin’ In The Rain” I couldn’t believe how much I liked it and great art should never die. I’m not finished studying Mr. Lewis’ work yet I’m to “The Patsy” which I loved. Plus I just started reading Jerry’s book titled “Martin and Lewis A Love Story” and cried at the opening.

On a more serious note, I hope in this new century we don’t forget to look back on history and learn. People used to go out and socialize, they had real connections and active lives. When TV came along a little of that disappeared, then the internet came and a little more went away, now cell phones exist and we barely speak to each other in person or on the phone that we carry with us EVERYWHERE! If you’re reading this I love you. Blessings.

IWA #3 On the website of Leslie Hall, social deviant? Or Diva?

Just when you thought you've seen everything, someone comes along and turns things upside down. This is my impression of Leslie Hall's unique, funny and in your face website. She takes everything considered repulsive and in bad taste and flips it on it's head. The result is a cult following of people who are in on it and not afraid to laugh at themselves and society. I love this so much because the media gives us all kinds of reasons every day to not like who we are or how we look. Sometimes I find I'm so taken in by it that it occupies my brain more than actual important stuff. Life is full of joys and sorrows, if you can't take a step back and laugh at certain situations it can make you hard. So here we have a group of true out casts! These people make Goths, Rockers, Rappers, and Beaters look like clones! Oh, think you're unique cause you're sporting a Bob Marley shirt and some moccasins? Think again! This troupe makes the hipsters in Santa Cruz look, GASP, NORMAL! I would be willing to bet there aren't more than a handful of people in the entire state of California who would even attempt to wear spandex again (bikers not included) much less the portion of us considered overweight!

Another thing I noticed about her website is it's a spell check and grammar nazi's nightmare! One might see this as just a way to further elude to the farce of it all. So people may more easily see and want to be “in on” the joke. But it may also suggest non conformity if you read between the lines. I saw she has “wedding packages” on her website which immediately reminded me of “The wedding singer” particularly the scene where Adam Sandler's character recruits the social rejects at the reception to sing along with “Love Stinks”. Also I have recently studied a comedian from the 70's and early 80's named Andy Kaufman who I've concluded was more about doing whatever he wanted on stage and embracing whatever reaction this caused. He just wanted a reaction, whatever that may have been over indifference. I also concluded that in this way, even if it wasn't intentional he may have woken some people up. By that I mean made them think twice about conformity.

I think this message is important to spread because of sheer numbers. There are so many people in the world that we've become either indifferent or abusive to each other. You see the evidence of abuse every day. Whether you go out and witness someone taking out their bad day on some undeserving store clerk or if you stay home and hear on the news about a teen being bullied to death for their sexual orientation. The indifference is the reason these things are still happening. It's artists and humanists like this who remind us not to be silent. We have to stand up for those who are beaten down to much to stand on their own anymore. We have to call people on their insensitivity, yes in public! Yes to a total stranger! How else will they learn? Maybe they didn't get their dose of humility in high school like most of us. But we all need this temperance to improve ourselves, to find happiness, and to improve the world.

These are things I think I can do to help. Because I've been that undeserving cashier and I've also been that person on the road that honks and flips people off. I can only control my own reactions and behavior I can't control others but at least I can stand up for someone who needs it or point out something someone may have done that was wrong and hope for the best. I'm not sure I'll ever be brave enough myself to get up one morning and decide to sport spandex pants, and a bedazzled sweater all day but I can at least remember Leslie whenever I start to feel self conscious about my appearance. Her message to all being WHO CARES? BE YOURSELF! Because the people matter don't mind, and the people who mind don't matter!

Group 3

The year is 2440AD. There is only a fraction of the whole population of each country left. We had failed to curb our polluting ways and were buying up resources from under developed countries. But the real trouble started when we stopped going outside. People became so disconnected from personal interaction due to the virtual worlds and anonymity available on the internet and then the Avatar was invented. Originally intended for military and construction use mainly, manufacturers soon came up with an easily operated virtual reality interface headset. That's when they realized the possibilities of marketing to the general public. First for the disabled then for games and experiences beyond human capacity and eventually most work. Now there was no need to wear all the protective gear and masks to get things done outside. It didn't take long for humanity to replace most of their waking lives with the new virtual one. By the year 2350 very few people left home at all due to the state of the planet, pollution, lack of natural resources or open spaces that were unspoiled. There were biodomes but they were for farming to feed the population. In the year 2428 world war broke out over fresh water rights to remaining glacial areas and clean soil. It was anticipated by all to be the last war, so each government started building structures to protect the biodomes and also domiciles to house survivors of a the possible nuclear fallout.

In 2434 this awful future was realized. It was the United States who launched the first nuclear weapons against China and Russia into space in an attempt to cripple their forces in the poles for water mining. Then came the battles for the remaining soil and the latest water filtration technology. Those who were not in favor of the war and had the ability to send Avatars abroad collected as many materials for rebuilding as possible. The Avatars were re-purposed for building and gathering materials. Now it is the goal of those who remain to rebuild earths atmosphere and address the social and political systems that failed. Rebuilding the way we govern and a barter/fair trade system of work and credits instead of currency.

“The Matrix” Alternatives

All great movies draw parallels to our lives and the human experience as a whole. The Matrix is one of the most intriguing films of our time. The way it integrates powerful metaphors of our culture and society with technology successfully creating a modern myth is as impressive now as it was when I first saw it. I am pleased that with this assignment the very political message hidden in the plot was revealed to me. To be honest I'm ashamed I didn't see it before.

The first time I saw this movie I immediately saw a modern myth. I had viewed lectures from a man named Joseph Campbell about “The Heroe's Journey” and was amazed at yet another updated example of this common theme throughout mankind's history. I was also impressed by the integration of the concept widely thought to be “new age” of our thoughts being able to affect the physical world. The idea that “thoughts are things” was not new to me though I don't know who thought of it first or even where I first heard it.

I was delighted by the parallel the movie draws with “Alice in Wonderland” in the decision Neo has to make about whether to continue the search for knowledge or end it. What I didn't see before was the parallel it draws to our current political state and society. Here you have a government like system that exists solely to make sure the population does not learn enough to interfere with its agenda. In the movie the agenda is to keep people in a dream state so they don't notice they are actually being used for their biology. In our current political climate one could say the same is being done by corrupt politicians with the agendas of those who give them their money and power. On the surface we appear to be free. We are educated and even the impoverished parts of this country are far more wealthy than those of many other countries. However recently it has become evident that we are continually deprived of our civil rights. Those who run for office are able to run smear campaigns and ask for votes to office without delivering any facts or true intentions of what they intend to do once in power. More and more our rights to privacy are disappearing as technology surpasses our abilities to make laws that govern the ethical use of them. Also some laws are simply broken without prejudice in the name of national security.

So then in answer to the question posed to us about which “pill” or path I would or do choose to take I have to say the red pill and the harsh truth. I'm all too aware of the consequences this introduces. With ignorance there appears to be less consequence because it is almost a child like state. If you choose ignorance you have only to accept what you are told is true and do not have an obligation to study or search any further. Also there is no added responsibility that comes from having this limited knowledge. But however worry free you may feel you will have cheated yourself because those who know the truth have a scary amount of power over what you are allowed to know and what happens to you. Choosing knowledge is the harder path but as they say it is usually the harder path that is right. With knowledge comes responsibility to use its power ethically. When you become aware that people are being used and stripped of their rights it is your ethical responsibility to make it known in order to effect a change for the better. It is my contention that anyone who has a decent sense of ethical behavior would have to choose knowledge and all the duties and responsibilities that come with it. As stated in the Declaration of Independence and a quote I heard in another movie “National Treasure” "But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and provide new Guards for their future security."
